KT NEWS SERVICE SRINAGAR, 11 January 2008:
After remaining closed for three consecutive days, Srinagar-Jammu highway reopened today. The road was initially reopened for one way but the stranded vehicles on both sides were allowed to proceed towards their respective destinations. Meanwhile Melerological department officials predict weather conditions will improve.
UPDATE: 3000 Stranded on Kashmir Highway - New Kerala, 13 January 2008.
UPDATE: 16 January 2008 - Snowfall in Srinagar, Highway Closed...Kashmir valley cut off yet again.
UPDATE: 19 January 2008 - Highway Nightmare Ends for Stranded.
