SRINAGAR - ONE THOUSAND SHADES OF BROWN

Owing to the fact that there are currently no operating internet facilities, nor a pharmacy, in Gulmarg, I return (briefly) to Srinagar to buy meds, western food treats (at the Pick n' Choose on Residency Road), and to update this blog. I am reminded of my first impressions of Srinagar - worn brick, crumbly concrete, rusted tin, uniforms, and a thousand shades of brown. More later...

hey nixon , did the boogey men get you? you are such a pain they would have released you by now anyway.we are more than curious how you are doing.it is minus 17 in these hills today with more snow coming.we will have plenty of spring snow for you.i am headed out to walk the dog and this dreaded global warming ought to be a 17 degree below zero slap in the face...hehe david
